SECTIONAL DOORS
WHAT ARE THEY

WHAT ARE SECTIONAL DOORS?

The sectional doors are designed and realized using horizontal panels joined by hinges. The sectional doors lift to leave the opening completely free.

CONFIGURATION

Depending on sectional door model, you can choose from 4 different configurations: Base Version, realized with steel or wood panels; Visa Version, with transparent sections on the upper panels to bring light into the garage; Stop&Go Version, with a pedestrian door (Width 800, 1000 or 1200 mm); Visa+Stop&Go Version, with the features of both versions.

SECTIONAL DOOR ELEMENTS

The sectional door is realized using panels (steel, wood or aluminium panels) joined by hinges. The door moves parallel to the wall and ceiling by means of rollers, which run into special sliding tracks.
The sectional door is supported by a spring unit placed in the headroom. The spring unit makes the opening and closing extremely easy and light.
The sectional door can be supplied with or without motor. The motor prevents manual handling and does not replace the action of the balancing springs.
The sectional door is always composed of three main groups of elements:
– Door coat;
– Sliding tracks;
– Spring unit;

UP-AND-OVER OR SECTIONAL DOOR?

The sectional door slides up to the ceiling in a “simple and practical way” and does not take up valuable space like the traditional up-and-over door.
The sectional door allows the use of the whole internal space of the garage.
The sectional door is safe and easy to use, making entry and exit easier.
The sectional door (especially if it is a Breda door!) offers the greatest possible adaptability due to its extraordinary ability to be personalized with colors, materials accessories and also “custom-made” solutions which produce a unique appearance and design.
